Westlake
This high-end, competitively bid custom home was built on the owner’s homesite in Westlake. The extremely difficult topography created the need for an "upside down" design with a full first floor and a lower level versus a second floor. Finishes included mortared clay roof tile, 24" x 24" sandstone floor tile, hand-scraped wood flooring, extensive built-in cabinetry, custom stone columns, and much more. True artisans designed and manufactured the light fixtures for this project during two builder/owner expeditions into Mexico.
