NAHB 20 Clubs

Durrett Interests, LLC is an active member of the National Association of Homebuilders 20 Club Program via Club #43, The Keystones. The NAHB 20 Clubs are comprised of similar type builders or remodelers from non-competing markets who meet several times a year to share their wisdom and learn from each other ways to improve their operations and increase their bottom lines. Members share and compare financial information, look for trouble spots, and offer each other advice on how to increase their profit ratios and improve their performance. Participation in the Builder 20 Club has been the company’s driving force in improving financial reporting and developing management systems, which to our clients means that Durrett Interests, LLC will be around for years to come.

Custom Builder Management Systems

Increased volume and complexity of construction projects caused Durrett Interests, LLC to reinvent itself in August of 2006. Custom Builder Management System (CBMS) was brought in to evaluate the company’s organizational chart and aid in implementing the necessary management systems and procedures typical of custom homebuilders nationwide. Today’s organization consists of three key employees in addition to the company’s owners: a project manager responsible for construction operations, a customer care manager responsible for communication of project selections and specifications, and an office manager responsible for in-house accounting functions as well as organization of project records. Custom Builders USA

Durrett Interests believes that allowances should be as accurate as possible for each and every project to help prevent overages and miscommunication. The allowances listed on our project proposals are highly accurate but could possibly be reduced in the future as the project develops and moves closer to finalized selections and specifications. Durrett Interests is a member of CBUSA Austin, a local group of top custom builders who have joined together and leveraged our buying power to achieve the most competitive pricing and the best customer service from our preferred vendors. To our custom homebuilding clients, this means that the pricing you receive from our preferred vendors should be consistently lower across the board than pricing received on custom homes built outside of this innovative program.
