We primarily concentrate in the Central Austin area and welcome select projects in other parts of Austin.

It’s more than building outstanding homes

Acting in a design-build capacity, we have helped numerous families put together and manage a design team for their new home. Our extensive experience developing infill properties helps ensure that your vision of your custom home becomes a reality.

We can do a complete renovation and addition or a teardown of an existing home, and will recommend the best option based on your budget and the pre-existing conditions of your property. Upon moving back into your home, you’ll marvel at the transformation.

Every project is assigned a customer care manager, who deals with collecting pricing and managing client selections, and a project manager, who takes care of subcontractor scheduling and construction oversight. We have regularly scheduled meetings to discuss each project. Our selection schedule is intuitive and based on the actual workflow of construction.

Environmental innovators

Since we opened our doors in early 2001, our mission has been to make every home as environmentally friendly as possible under the Austin Energy Green Building Program. We can incorporate green features in any project. We also have experience working within the USGBC’s LEED for Homes program and NAHB’s new green building program.

Working with architects

Building complex architect-designed homes is a challenge with which we have experience and thoroughly enjoy. We admit that our egos tend to lead us to exceptional projects. We don’t shy away from steep topography, structural steel, flat roofs, deep cantilevers, storefront windows, or innovative finish materials.

We’d be glad to refer you to a number of architects with whom we have experience, but at the same time we’re always happy to expand our network to other architects and the style that is unique to their work.

Our unique expertise is in building high-performance, environmentally friendly homes that have the high-end look you desire. And for the serious eco-conscious consumer, we can install rainwater collection for household consumption, as well as geothermal systems and solar photovoltaic systems. Our experience with NAHB and LEED programs means we’re continually improving our business model and green building standards.  We regularly work with Barley + Pfeiffer Architects, one of Austin’s premier architects, bringing their remarkable plans and innovative building science to life. We have never built the same home twice, nor do we intend to.

At one with the community

Experience has taught us the many advantages of actively working with neighbors to keep them informed of the project and its construction. We’re convinced that the only way to maintain happy neighbors is to keep them in the know about such concerns as the project scope, duration, location on the homesite, architectural style, and orientation of the windows.

We can build to suit any design style, though our favorite style is anything with a twist of clean and crisp contemporary.

Our portfolio is excitingly diverse, with projects ranging from $350,000 to over $2,000,000, with which we have had beautiful results and success. Check out our spectacular Santa Barbara-style home in Seven Oaks, a 6,950 square foot home listed for $2,145,575.

A typical project in our portfolio is an architect-designed, true custom home between $800,000 and $1,200,000 (excluding the land) where we begin with the design phase and then guide our client through the process of architecture, engineering, permitting, specification writing, bank budgeting, and interior design selections. Our clients find this process builds trust and a positive custom homebuilding experience.
